Terms & Conditions for Zero Cancellation charges on Domestic Flights
Introduction
“Zero Cancellation” is a product offered by MakeMyTrip (India) Private Limited (“MakeMyTrip”) for the passengers/users. These products are intended to provide travel benefits to the passengers/users who are willing to make a domestic flight booking on GoIbibo’s online platform(s), a of brand owned by MakeMyTrip.
What do you get?
During the airline ticket booking process, the passenger can opt for the “Zero Cancellation” product by paying an additional fee for the respective for any of the aforesaid product, starting from Rs.149/- per passenger, and avail the travel benefits of Zero Cancellation.
Under the Zero Cancellation product , which is opted by the passenger, the passenger will receive a refund equivalent to the airfare amount paid at the time of flight booking or part of the booking relevant to cancellation request (cancellation of full booking or for a select passenger(s) or sector as the case may be, However, the following components will be non-refundable by MakeMyTrip to the passengers in case of full or partial cancellation of flight bookings by the passengers:
- Convenience fee charged and applicable at the time of flight booking by a passenger for a domestic flights and/or INR 600 (per sector per passenger) or whichever is applicable at the time of flight booking.
- The fee charged by MakeMyTrip for each the Zero Cancellation product respectively, from the passengers for availing the benefit of the respective product at the time of cancellation will not be refundable to the passengers in any case whatsoever.
How Do You Get It?
- During the booking process, select “Zero Cancellation” product option by paying an additional fee starting from Rs.149/- per passenger & avail the booking cancelation benefit at the time of cancellation.
- To avail the benefit of Zero Cancellation product, log-on to https://www.goibibo.com/mysupport/customerHelp/ and process the cancellation. The system will apply Zero cancelation benefit automatically.
- Under the “Zero Cancellation” product and subject to these terms and conditions, the passenger/user will be entitled for booking refund only if the cancellation is done minimum 24 hours before departure time of the flight.
- Subject to the aforesaid exceptions, the customer will be entitled for booking refund only if the cancellation is done on GoIbibo’s website or mobile application.
What else do you need to know?
- The Zero Cancellation fee paid by the customer to MakeMyTrip for availing free cancelation benefit will be non-refundable in all cases.
- Airline add-ons such as seats, meals, baggage, and non-airline purchases like insurance are not covered under the product’s coverage and are non-refundable.
- The benefit of the product will not apply if any date changes are made to the flight booking.
- Cancellation benefit is available only on selected one-way & return Domestic flights booked by passengers on GoIbibo’s mobile Application and/or https://www.goibibo.com/.On return bookings, Zero Cancellation can be purchased only if both the legs of return bookings are eligible for a zero cancellation offer.
- Cancellation benefit is available for full cancellation where passenger request to cancel (all flights of a particular passenger) all passengers booked in an itinerary.
- Cancellation benefit is applicable for individual passenger where Zero Cancellation product purchased for multiple passengers and the customer requests a partial cancellation for one passenger, the customer can utilize zero cancellation for such passenger individually.
- Cancellation benefit is applicable for roundtrip for both aforesaid products, where zero cancellation is purchased for roundtrip and customer comes for partial cancellation of 1 leg (say Delhi – Mumbai leg for a Delhi – Mumbai – Delhi itinerary), customer can avail zero cancelation benefit on the first leg being cancelled (say Delhi – Mumbai) but cannot avail zero cancellation benefit again if he or she comes to cancel for the second leg later (Mumbai – Delhi).
- The zero cancellation benefit for the passengers/users is valid only once. Passenger will not be eligible to cancel again for free, if he has already availed the benefit of Zero Cancellation product for some/all of the passengers in a booking.
- This Zero Cancellation product can’t be clubbed with any other offer or product benefit running on MakeMyTrip website or mobile application.
General Terms and Conditions
- In the event of any misuse or abuse of the offer by the customer/passenger, MakeMyTrip reserves the right to deny the offer or cancel the booking. MakeMyTrip shall not refund the booking amount in such cases.
- MakeMyTrip reserves the right, at any time, without prior notice and liability and without assigning any reason whatsoever, to add/alter/modify/change or vary all of these terms and conditions or to replace, wholly or in part, this product offer by another offer, whether similar to this offer/ product or not, or to extend or withdraw it altogether.
- To avail benefits of Zero Cancellation product , the passenger needs to cancel the booking online on MakeMyTrip. You will not be eligible for refund if you cancel directly with airline or on its B2C online platform.
- MakeMyTrip shall have reasonable discretion in interpretation of these terms and conditions from time to time.
- MakeMyTrip shall not be responsible for any delay, improper services provided by the provider of services, for any injury, death, loss or damage caused by the act or default of the management or employees of provider who are MakeMyTrip’s independent contractors.
- MakeMyTrip does not accept responsibility for losses and additional expenses, due to delays or changes in air, train, ships or other services, missed connections, sicknesses, weather, strikes, quarantine or other causes, howsoever caused, and all such losses and expenses caused must be borne by the customer.
- MakeMyTrip shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising due to force majeure event.
- MakeMyTrip shall not be liable for any indirect, punitive, special, incidental or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the offer. Under no circumstances, will the entire liability of MakeMyTrip under these terms and conditions exceed the amount of discount provided hereunder.
- Disputes, if any, arising out of or in connection with this offer shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Gurugram, Haryana.
- All other terms and conditions as listed in the User Agreement and the Privacy Policy available on GoIbibo’s online platforms will be applicable to these terms and conditions. The User Agreement and Privacy Policy are available on the GoIbibo’s website i.e.,https://www.goibibo.com/. Users, who are Travel Agents by occupation, are barred from making bookings for their customer’s and MakeMyTrip reserves the right to deny the benefits against such bookings or to cancel such bookings.
