Trip Secure – Terms and Conditions
The Trip Secure can be availed by the customers of MakeMyTrip in order to safeguard their travel.
Trip Secure can be purchased by the customers of MakeMyTrip while making a domestic hotel booking through the MakeMyTrip Platform. You get the following benefits:
- Assistance services provided by Across Assist Private Limited.
- Travel Insurance as a complimentary in-built product underwritten by Aditya Birla Health Insurance Company Ltd.
Insurance coverage will be complimentary. Assistance services and insurance coverages are valid for the actual hotel stay duration. Trip Secure is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Assistance Services
Provided by Across Assist Private Limited, consisting of the following benefits:
Emergency Medical Assistance
- Online doctor consultation (Unlimited): A general physician/specialist will be aligned for online consultations during the trip in case of any medical emergency. Unlimited consultations will be provided free of cost.
- Ambulance Assistance: Post confirmation & payment from the customer, BLS Ambulance will reach the incident location within 30-45 minutes in city limits (20 Kms radius). Ambulance will transport the customer to their preference or the nearest hospital/clinic and will call necessary agencies for action.
- Pandemic assistance: 24/7 customer helpline for pandemic-related information. Services include paramedic alignment within 2-3 hours depending on the location, oxygen concentrator/bed availability within 60-90 minutes.
- Repatriation of mortal remains: Repatriation vehicle provided within 60 minutes post clearance and confirmation from the morgue.
Note: All medical and ambulance costs shall be borne by the customer at actuals. Assistance is non-transferable and applicable during the travel period only.
Other Benefits
- Towing: Covers up to 25 Kms for immobilizing breakdowns; additional distances charged at INR 50+GST per Km.
- Flat Tire Support: Mechanic dispatched for tire replacement; customer must provide a spare tire and necessary tools.
- Vehicle Extraction Assistance: Arrangements for towing (via hydra) in case of ditches, mud, or snow.
- Fuel Delivery: Up to 5 liters of fuel provided at the breakdown site; fuel cost borne by the customer.
- Message Relay: Assistance in relaying urgent messages to relatives, colleagues, or emergency contacts.
- Dedicated Hotline: 24/7 helpline for customer support.
- Battery Jumpstart: Assistance provided; cost of new battery (if required) borne by the customer.
- Taxi Benefit: Reimbursement up to Rs. 500 + GST for taxi services in case of vehicle immobilization.
- On-Site Minor Repairs: Labor and conveyance costs covered; spare parts to be borne by the customer.
- Key Assistance: Assistance for lost or misplaced keys; costs for transportation borne by the customer.

Conditions
- The person should be between the age of 3 months to 60 years.
- Hotel stay insurance is applicable for Indian residents only.
- The policy is valid only for customers of MakeMyTrip.
Exclusions
- Claims resulting from travel service providers becoming insolvent.
- Claims from tropical/contagious diseases without government-recommended inoculations/medications.
- Pre-existing conditions and non-authorized diagnostic centers are excluded.
- Traveling against physician advice, self-quarantine, or isolation is not covered.
